Six or seven years ago I mentioned them to a friend in Sihanoukville, who said they were still there. But I didn't check it out.Casey Nelson (pseud.)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00165901446765332635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568994465281213511.post-43000227403831920472012-07-28T13:30:18.170+07:002012-07-28T13:30:18.170+07:00What a great story and thank you for telling it as...What a great story and thank you for telling it as you did. The list of our barang "superstitions" is easily just as long, but since we believe them, we don't see them as "superstitious." I feel out of the loop and am surprised my family hasn't been out to see the cows.

When I first arrived in SV, I had a housekeeper who became "possessed" by the spirit of her dead sister. Her personality completely changed. A carpenter working on my house did some "magic" and exorcised the "spirit." Call it a spirit or call it a mental illness, the magic worked. That's more than can be said for many Western shrinks.Robhttp://www.sihanoukville-cambodiajournal.comnoreply@blogger.com
